Fierce Heat

This summer we are hit by the strongest heat wave.
Therefore I don't want to go out in this fierce heat if possible.

Because of this heat, I stay at home all day every weekend these days.

When I play tennis on Thursdays, I always have hard time enduring hot weather.

I wish I could spend summer in Hokkaido.

Talking of Hokkaido, the temperature, particularly in the west of Hokkaido is lower.

Staying at home

I have stayed at home for 2 days with an air conditioner on.
I spend 2 days in not studying but sleeping, watching TV and using a computer.

I had to study for the term exam, but I didn't.

By the way, did you watch the soccer game final of the World Cup?
I was too excited to sleep.

As expected, the French team 　defeated the Ukrainian team.

On the other hand, Wimbledon came to an end.


Djokovic won the men's singles title.

In the game that participants have to find 5 flags, 2 groups were going well.

Finally, in the cave named 'the bear's mouse' one girl assume a sound to be the sound of a bear.

However, the sound was heard from a CD player.

I thought ''Everything is not always how it looks''.

The bully scribbles in another classmate's notebook and get into mischief.
I thought she was very mischievous.

However, finally she became kind to everyone.

Chinese Adventure

This book made me feel as if I were in China.

The Forbidden City, Shikinjou in Japanese is one of the places which I want to go to someday.
I'd like to visit China and so on.

The Rainbow Machine

I don't know how the rainbow is made.

In this story, the rainbow is made by using a special machine.

However, if it doesn't work well, a weird rainbow may be made.

The Riddle Stone Part1 and 2

I thought it was too difficult to answer English riddles.

In this story, a young boy was so smart that he answered almost all questions.

When I read an English paper, in one of its columns there are some riddles.

So I want to come to answer these riddles.

Do you know 'dogsled'?
Balto is one of sled dogs, which draw sleighs on ice.

Regrettably, in this  story some dogs die because of heavy snowfall.

I was really impressed by the attitude of the sled dogs.

A boy taking out her younger sister wanted to go out by himself.
However, his mother made him take her out.
When he turned his eyes away, she disappeared.

I thought you should have kept an eye on your younger sibling.

Red Planet

Some kids went to the outer space.

Surprisingly, there was a dog wearing a space suit.

 I wish a dog went to the outer space someday in the future.

The Litter Queen

Throwing away litter is a bad thing.
It makes the environment worse.

People like the litter Queen must not be forgiven.

He is very careless.
Whenever he help mother do housework, he never fail to make mistakes.

However, his mistakes are so funny that you should read this book.

As you know, this story is sad one.

A mermaid did want to become a human and marry a cool man.

However, unfortunately her wish couldn't be granted.

I was a little sad.

The Secret Tunnel

Some thieves were trying to steal many works of art by replacing them with fakes.

However, boys and girls exposed thier plot by intruding into their hideout secretly.

Evil will come out sooner or later.

Trouble at Sea

5 boys and girls stopped the bad people from putting oil in the sea, which makes the fish and bird die.

After I read this book, I surfed the Internet to search the environmental problems.

Particularly, problems by humankind must not be allowed.

Two boys are fighting over one beautiful girl.
However, one of the boy made many evil schemes to get the girl.
His schemes were terrible.
They made the relationship between the other boy and the girl force apart.

Fortunately, three kind students helped the old, and horrible people were arrested.

The Lost Wallet

One day, two students found their teacher's wallet.
One of them decided to spend the money on a guitar.
The other student didn't want to spend the money.

Regrettably, when the latter student was returning his teacher's wallet, the teacher assumed that the student was stealing.

Fortunately, it didn't lead to a big trouble.

Sports (Soccer ➡ Tennis)

The other day, the Japanese Soccer team regrettably was defeated by the Belgian team.











But, the All England Lawn Tennis Championship, Wimbledon is being held now.

We should cheer Kei Nishikori, a professional tennis player.
He is the final 8 now.
This is the greatest achievement since Shuzou Matsuoka was the final 8.

Unfortunately, we can watch this championship on TV at midnight only too.
Therefore the rhythm of my life is broken again.
